Get started on those ribbon packets!!!

October 19th, 2009

Students received their first ribbon packet at their lesson last week.  This homework packet is the first in a series designed to support their playing ability with a written understanding of the concepts.  The tiered system allows students to work at their own pace beginning with basic concepts and working their way up to more advanced lessons.  As an added incentive, students earn ribbons to tie around the handle to their instrument case!  While there is no due date set for these homework packets, students are expected to complete a minimum of three packets by the end of the school year.  The sooner they get to work on it, the better!
